You should only attempt advanced mountain biking activities such as steep roll-in's, drop-off's, getting 'air', jumping, etc. when you have become an experienced and competent mountain bike rider. Always use the appropriate safety equipment for each activity, which can include helmets, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads.
